fnxbasic and windows 98

Hello,

I have another question : does your basic work on windows 98 ("very" old system but still used in some places). I made some trials on a PC under wi 98 and it did`nt work : is it normal ?

It was not written for windows 98 but after a minor fix it seems to work. You can download the new package at the download button of the fnx site. (www.fnxbasic.com).
I also have put the help files in html format at the file section of this forum.

  I tried the new compiler. But there is the same problem with the editor : I have no menu and, instead of them, I have "nofound". When I launch the FNX editor, it minimizes and goes at the top of the screen right corner. I can`t work with it because I have no menus ... Maybe it is possible to use fnxbasic with another editor on widows 98 (Scite for exemple) ?

Make certain that the editor.eng and error.eng are
in the same directory as the editor.
If this is so then open fnxeditor.ini and at
editor add
editor=E:fnxbasiceditor.eng  [use your directory this is mine]
at help add
help=FNXHELP_ENG.CHM
It should work.

Sorry to interrupt but I just updated the file so you need to download it again.
I had add the wrong help files,they don`t work.
Also I fixed the bug of the language files, if not found, the english files are used.
