Problem running FNXBasic exe`s under 98SE and ME

I have successfully generated several FNXBasic exe files on an XP system, however, when I try to run them on either a Windows 98se or Millennium system, they lock up.  These exe`s all work fine under XP.

Do FNXBasic exe files require any XP-specific dll`s or other features that prevent their use on these other two systems?

I think so because I have had the same problem (included with the editor FNX)
