Printer trouble :(

Hi to all,
I`m having trouble with printer object.
Simply compiled and run the "printer" example, but I always get a runtime error with "Access violation at addres xxxxxx in module `printer.exe`. Read of address yyyyyy".
The only way to have no errors, is to set PDFCreator as default printer in windows.
I try it at home, with WIN10 Home even 32, or 64 bit, and a USB Samsung printer directly connected, or lan connected.
And at work, with WIN8.1 64 bit and a RICOH printer lan connected.
I try also with a virtual printer (both at home and work) like FinePrint, but get same runtime error :(
Actually the only way I found is to set PDF Creator as default printer.

Anyone can help me ?
